Two Student Helpers

Overall Purpose

In our innovative Copenhagen-based office space our game changing microfactory produces clothes for apparel brands, made on-demand with a significantly reduced CO2-fooptrint and without water. Read more about Rodinia Generation at the end of this post.

In this position you will acquire invaluable skills and industry knowledge in the fields of automation manufacturing, sustainability and technical design, while being an integrated part of our cross-disciplinary team of designers and engineers. We make up a hybrid group that welcomes new ideas and appraises team spirit.

We are looking for a young professional still in studies, preferably within the fields of production tech, sustainability and/or design to ensure high quality of the clothes we produce for apparel brands. Qualifications & Responsibilities

General

Location: Copenhagen  

Reporting to: Head of Commercial & Technical Design and Purchase & Quality Manager  

Start Date: As soon as possible  

Involvement: paid-by-the-hour (student help) 

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Check of production in-progress 

  • Preferably assisting with procurement and supplier-contact

  • Preferably assisting with pattern and techpack QC and preparations

  • Keep process documentation up to speed

  • Ad hoc day-to-day tasks

Professional Competencies

  • Applicants should study fashion design and production technology, supply chain management or the like.

  • Should know the basics of pattern making and understand shape development 2D to 3D, and be skilled in Adobe Illustrator

And / Or:

  • Should know the basics of procurement, supply chain management and logistics, and accustomed to work in Excel or other spreadsheet-programs.

  • Be helpful by nature and a team-player.

  • Ability to work independently (but never too proud to ask questions).
